CARSTAR Soaps It Up National Car Wash Day
At the parking lot of the CARSTAR Collision Centre both cars and participants were receiving special treatment from staff members. During the 7th annual CARSTAR Soaps It Up National Car Wash day on June 12th, guests had their cars washed from roof to wheel despite the rainy conditions.
While their cars were being washed, guests had the opportunity to enjoy delectable barbequed meals, exhibit some exotic vehicles, listen to tunes from 97.3 BOOM DJ, win prizes and feel like a VIP guest. The children were entertained by Petunia the Clown. Along with the activities and the chance to slip into the Shutter Bug photo booth for family pictures, guests were also pumped for an appearance by former Maple Leaf and NHL great, Wendel Clark; on hand to sign copies of his book, “My Life in Hockey”.
The funds that were raised were later given to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
